Your Right to Data Deletion
Under data protection laws (including GDPR, CCPA, and others), you have the right to request deletion of your personal information. This page explains how to exercise that right with 91Leads CRM.
For Business Clients
If you are a business client with an active 91Leads CRM account, you can request deletion of your business information or customer data stored in your account.
How to Request Data Deletion
- Via Email: Send a deletion request to care@91leads.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request"
- Include in your email:
- Your account email address
- Company name associated with the account
- Specific data you want deleted (or "all data" for complete account deletion)
- Reason for deletion (optional but helpful)
- Account Verification: We will verify your identity before processing the deletion request
- Processing Time: Deletion requests are processed within 30 days of verification
Important Considerations
- Account Closure: Deleting all data will result in permanent account closure
- Backup Data: Some data may be retained in backups for up to 90 days for disaster recovery purposes
- Legal Requirements: We may retain certain data if required by law (e.g., tax records, transaction history)
- Billing Information: Financial records may be retained as required by accounting and tax regulations
For End Customers (Lead Data)
Understanding Your Data
If your contact information (name, email, phone) is stored in 91Leads CRM by one of our business clients, we act as a data processor. The business client who stored your information is the data controller.
To request deletion of your data: Please contact the business that collected your information directly. We will assist our business clients in fulfilling your deletion request.
If You Don't Know Which Business Has Your Data
If you're unsure which business has stored your information in 91Leads CRM, you can:
- Contact us at care@91leads.com with your contact details
- We will search our system and identify which business client has your data
- We will forward your deletion request to the appropriate business client
- The business client will process your request according to their privacy policy
For Facebook Users (Meta Integration)
If you have connected your Facebook account to 91Leads CRM through our Meta integration, you can request deletion of your Facebook-related data.
Facebook Data Deletion Process
- Disconnect Integration: You can disconnect your Facebook integration at any time through your account settings
- Request Deletion: Send an email to care@91leads.com with:
- Subject: "Facebook Data Deletion Request"
- Your Facebook user ID or email
- Your 91Leads account email
- What Gets Deleted:
- Facebook access tokens
- Facebook page connections
- Any cached Facebook data
- Note: This does not delete your Facebook account or data on Facebook's servers
What Happens After Deletion
Immediate Actions
- ✓ Data is marked for deletion
- ✓ Access to the data is immediately revoked
- ✓ Account access is disabled (if full deletion)
- ✓ Confirmation email is sent
Permanent Removal
- ✓ Data is permanently deleted from active databases
- ✓ Backup data is removed within 90 days
- ✓ Logs are anonymized or deleted
- ✓ No recovery possible after permanent deletion
Exceptions and Limitations
Data We May Retain
In certain circumstances, we may be required to retain some data even after a deletion request:
- Legal Obligations: Data required for legal compliance, tax records, or regulatory requirements
- Dispute Resolution: Data needed to resolve ongoing disputes or legal claims
- Fraud Prevention: Information necessary to prevent fraud or abuse
- Anonymized Data: Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you
- Backup Systems: Data in backup systems (deleted within 90 days)
